In 2018 I graduated from Carleton College with distinction in Political Science/ International Relations and a minor in Political Economy. There I developed strong quantitative and qualitative skills in social science research including the use of both R and STATA. I applied these skills for my senior thesis where I developed a predictive model of voting behavior in electoral autocracies such as Cameroon. After graduating, I received a one-year fellowship at OpenSky Policy Institute in Lincoln, Nebraska. In this position, I monitored and researched pending legislation, ran analysis of proposed public policy, and prepared testimony on a variety of topics. I testified twice on the status of Nebraska's cash reserve system. While at OpenSky, I learned to effectively manage projects on tight and changing deadlines, respond to requests in real-time, and communicate findings with key stakeholders. Currently, I work as a Social Science Research Analyst at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. I am extremely excited to apply my strong analytic background to pressing issues in the health policy sphere.
