Supoprting a Teradata Data Warehouse fed by Informatica ETL processes within an in-built set of frameworks also built with Teradata and Informatica components.My specific role is to keep the Informatica environment up-and-running and also to implement change packages into the Teradata/Informatica/Linux/Control-M system software and configuration.Change is constant and we have re-implemented the environment in three major phases to keep the software at supported levels.

Helped to develop a Data Migration Application using SQL Server 2012 to move data from MARS ( ( McGrath Automated Real-estate System) to SALESFORCE (in the cloud) ).Included sophisticated Integrity Checking within the STAGING Database layer PRIOR to SALESFORCE Load.Designed Built and Tested the full Initial Load and also a Delta Load to pick up changes that occur in MARS over time.Successfully executed the Load to SALESFORCE sufficient to generate the pre-designed SALESFORCE generated website.Extremely good performance in the SQL Server 2012 Database(s) and making use of the DBAmp product to interface between SALESFORCE and our local SQL Server Database(s).Used and modified the ETL Processing Control system to add more specialised load and transformation steps.

This major Enterprise Data Integration Project captured Customer/Premise/Utility Installation details from 4-5 NSW Energy Market "Participants"​ and migrated them from two external companies into the Origin Energy SAP-centric environment over a 2 year period.This was achieved with a high-accuracy solution that incurred minimal loss of business productivity and functionality.I also supported the maintenance and enhancement to the EMS Application (Energy Management System) that was required due to the presence of the newly "purchased" NSW customer-base.This system is almost purely built in SQL Server 2012, with some Web Application components to support maintenance and usage of the system.I was responsible for adding the new participant definitions (and supporting metadata) and also migration of 2 years of Utility History (Meter Data!) for the in-scope customers.

Supporting the Teradata EDM and related Data Warehouse environments at Vodafone Australia - Chatswood.Developed Archival approach for Call-Data. Achieved sign-off and delivered a working prototype.

Support and Maintenance of GDW Teradata environment at St George Bank / Westpac.Mostly designing and building SQL and Datastage ETL feeds to the GDW Bronze and Gold layers.Delivered a new "Customer Match" Application which matched across the entire client-base in an attempt to better resolve individuals within the mixed St Georg and Westpac data sources.

Provided support for the IDW environment at Optus.Developed Trap Batch feeds to IDW.Performance Tuning on existing IDW Macros.Maintenance to the TCRM interface to IDW.Supported Customer Analytics using the GTM (Gateway Territory Model)Supported SMB Bundle analysis.

Supported the Teradata Data Warehouse environments at QANTAS Airways Ltd.Worked on CDW Bookings warehouse in several waves of maintenance and enhancements.Joined the support team and was part of (24-hour) support roster.Member of team to implement FM and CM waves of Booking enhancements that were part of the Triton (Amadeus Interface) Programme.Wrote ETL solutions and acted as BI-adviser and solution developer to Business teams in their use of the QANTAS Data Warehouse.Specialised in EDIFACT that is used in B2B interfaces between Amadeus and QANTAS.

Supported establishment of Metadata Repository as source of all Data Warehouse definitions.Built Web Publishing mechanism for delivery to client-base.Built Business Objects (BI) layer for client access to Metadata.Participated in Knowledge Management Program at BA.Established Airline Operations Glossary owned and contributed to by the business SMEs.

Designed solutions for capturing QANTAS Data Models (phyiscal, logical, enterprise) into a Metadata Repository.
