As lead Business Objects Developer, my primary functions include but are not limited to translating business requirements into technical deliverables. Design reports using Business Objects Webi report design and development tools which allows users the ability to create what-if scenarios from IBM’s Maximo Asset Management database . Use Business Object Designer for Universe design, development, and performance enhancements tweaks. Write complex SQL code to extract data for corporate reports and overall database performance enhancements and reconciliations. Use Business Objects Lumira to create Dash Boards for graphical visualization of executive Financial budget data. Coordinate deployment schedules, release notes, naming conventions, and documentation with the Business Objects Administrator and DBA to ensure consistent application of best practices and business standards within all system reporting environments. Assist co-workers with testing and resolving complex design issues within the Business Objects Webi and Universe design tools.

Provide Functional and Technical Data Quality Tools assistance to enterprise wide business group. Implement data quality tools that assist business groups with analyzing their data by building business rules, discovering the lineage of the data sources, and profiling data to assist in producing and reporting defects or exceptions to those rules. Deployed Business Object’s Data Insight for profiling and exception reporting. Install and configure Exeros Discovery tool for discovering the sources lineage. Use Oracle 10g SQLDeveloper to manage, maintain, and manipulate Enterprise Data Quality data.

Acted as primary contact for the Data Warehouse Adhoc reporting Database System team used to tract, manage and coordinate Ad Hoc requests from RDW to support FMIS teams such as Community Lending, SF Acquisition, SF Book of Business and Borrower Property. Supported and maintained production reports using ClearCase and ClearQuest for CM (change management).Used SQL, PL/SQL and SAS on the UNIX and Windows platform to provide business partners/customers with high quality re-current and adhoc data reportsEnsured reports were delivered on time with excellent customer service corporate wide. Provided technical/analytic assistance and data expertise to the business users and clients as deemed necessary.

Acted as technical support and consultant to provide project and baseline support to the Sales and Contracting Unit.Gathered, wrote, and translated requirements into solid developed technical solutions for business systems and applications.Used SQL, HTML, Reportworks and SAS in the MVS/TSO environment to maintain and update current production reports and applications. Ensured systems were consistent with the rapidly changing business needs while complying with the corporate ISS standards.Consulted with users to provide front-line and baseline support for Sales Standard and ad hoc report needs.
