In my third rotation, I focused on developing a real-time deep learning service that accurately predicts healthcare claim denials and provides valuable insights to payers and providers. I played a pivotal role in constructing a Model and leveraging enterprise APIs to establish an AI-powered platform, enabling seamless claim lifecycle management. Additionally, I conducted data profiling and exploratory data analysis on extensive datasets, optimizing the data pipeline by converting a Redshift query to Spark SQL. With millions of Medical Network transactions processed for a Prior Authorization denial predictions dataset, I successfully trained and evaluated a deep learning model, meeting precision, recall, and accuracy benchmarks. Furthermore, I expanded my expertise through the completion of an AI Machine Learning and Deep Learning boot camp at UC Berkeley and participated in workshops focused on Executive Presence and Emotional Intelligence.

During my second rotation, I led the implementation of the Agile Scrum framework to empower our offshore team, resulting in a significant increase in shippable products delivered by engineers. This transformation to Agile Scrum enabled us to optimize efficiency, improve return on investment, and reduce costs, development time, and bugs. The outcomes were impressive, with a 65% increase in completed JIRA stories, a 44% growth in story points, and a remarkable 118% rise in resolved bugs. Throughout this process, my responsibilities encompassed gathering and prioritizing features in collaboration with stakeholders, monitoring the development and QA process for five sprints, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies including Change Requests and Production Deployments, providing assistance with QA and User Testing, as well as effectively communicating changes to operations, end-users, and other engineering teams.

In my initial role, I spearheaded the adoption of Cloud 2.0 as the enterprise platform, effectively managing cloud expenditure and maintaining it at FY16 levels. By coordinating deliverables across various Cloud teams and collaborating with stakeholders, I successfully reduced costs and streamlined the cloud footprint. Regularly reporting to leadership, I ensured program progress was tracked from financial, risk, and schedule perspectives. Additionally, I played a key role in achieving $410,000 in savings by implementing optimizations, rightsizing, and strategic RI purchases for AWS. By developing Cloudhealth reports and policies, I enabled application teams to monitor and control costs proactively.
