I am a driven finance and business analytics honors student at Florida State University with a strong ambition to deliver results in the finance industry. I’ve always liked to have proof to justify my logic and reasons, which is why I have an innate passion for strategically using numbers and analytics to help drive data-driven decision-making. This year I have also done much of my learning outside of the classroom at Florida State such as finance clubs and with a 3rd party learning site called Wall Street Prep to further stimulate my intellectual curiosity. These experiences have allowed me to sharpen my finance, accounting, and Excel skills.Currently, I am developing my professional skills at the State Board of Administration of Florida where I plan to gain knowledge as a financial operations intern. I am looking forward to leading projects to ensure smoother operations for the Board.Working as a leasing consultant at Student Quarters Real Estate I was able to prove I had strong interpersonal and consulting skills by becoming the top salesman on the team. During my time at Student Quarters, I enjoyed connecting with people from various backgrounds and developing life-long relationships.What I’m really looking for is a company after graduation that can help me further my professional career and stimulate my intellectual curiosity.
