* Define, specify, and architect system level design of three generations of IP Phones since 2008* Create, define and architect new Cisco Headset 5xx portfolio (Wired USB, DECT+BT Wireless); Next Generation Wireless BT Headsets with ANC* Define next generation cloud connected endpoint platform and AI/ML/DL strategy on client and edge devices * Negotiate and drive all key component pricing on all IP Phones, accessories, and headsets* Work with CMs (Contract Manufacturers) and ODMs (Original Design Manufacturers) on all aspects of business and engineering negotiation, coordination and strategy across all of the endpoint portfolio* Work with team to do the proper due diligence on various chipsets in order to decide on key SoC on the Webex Room Kit series products; responsible for pricing and NRE negotiation* Provide technical due diligence expertise on M&A deals* Core contributor and architect to the new platform OS for the cloud connected devices now used across in UCTG (Unified Communication Technology Group)* Core contributor and architect for the hosted cloud OS (MPP - Multi-platform protocol) for IP phones* Core contributor and architect for various platforms (HW and SW stacks) for Enterprise, Multi-platform protocol, and Cloud connected endpoints* Work across multiple sites in UCTG and CVTG (Collaboration Video Technology Group) to bring the teams to work better together (Including SJC, RTP, Richardson, CRDC/China, and Lysaker)* Work with PM organization to define phone and video endpoint portfolio strategy* Work with GSM (Global Supply Manufacturing), GMO (Global Manufacturing Organization) and PM (Product Management) organizations to continually drive cost and maintain profit margin across all IP Phones endpoint business at 1B+* Help make recommendations to VPs and SVPs how to best organize the engineering teams and allocate the right teams for the right projects
