Wilson has almost 20 years' experience as an employment law counselor; helping businesses navigate the employment relationship by providing common-sense, practical solutions to employment law issues. He counsels clients in the technology, entertainment, media, retail, contingent staffing, construction and hospitality industries, among others, on hiring, promotion, discipline and termination decisions. Wilson negotiates executive employment agreements; and drafts and reviews employee policies for compliance with state and federal law. A significant portion of Wilson’s practice is devoted to employment litigation. He defends employers before state and federal administrative agencies and in courts across the nation in lawsuits involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge and state and federal wage and hour and leave of absence laws. Wilson’s litigation practice also includes representing employers in actions to enforce mandatory alternative dispute resolution agreements and related proceedings and prosecuting and defending non-compete matters. Wilson also assists companies with all aspects of affirmative action compliance including defending employers in OFCCP and DOL audits. Wilson is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and licensed to practice in New York, Texas and Virginia.
