Working in RM Education (largest ICT education provider in the UK) my responsibilities include providing consultancy and training services to education establishments across the country. Capitalizing on my solid background in IT my unique skillset has enabled me to become an invaluable member of the education services team often tasked with inducting and mentoring new employees to get them up to speed to be able to deliver effectively in their roles and also develop internal training programmes to up skill existing staff. I am regularly invited to help provide internal consultancy support to the in-house software development team to ensure new products have a coherent education benefit and also the user experience is as intuitive as possible. I have supported successful company project bids utilizing my education expertise and my ability to create enticing materials for the presentations to potential clients. Working collaboratively with senior stake holders in education establishments, I help influence, motivate and inspire them as well as support the development of professional development plans and school vision documentation which I often also participate in the implementation of. My role often involves the creation of bespoke solutions for schools which have often proved instrumental in rolling out new ways of embedding use of learning platforms and ICT within schools. I have co-developed and delivered in national education conferences including the recent NAACE summer ICT conference.

Working in a leading technology centre as part of the national Eic (Excellence in cities) initiative, I was responsible for managing and delivering innovative collaborative projects, ultilising the latest technologies to raise attainment across all education establishments within the local education authority. My role consists of many duties including liaising with heads of departments and senior leaders, providing consultancy services to advise and co-ordinate their ICT infrastructure and delivery to maximize the integration and use of ICT within the school.
