NBC News’ Tom Winter reports on matters involving law enforcement, counter terrorism, and counterintelligence covering the eastern U.S. and select countries worldwide. For over 10 years he has been reporting on some of the largest terror attacks and mass shooting incidents worldwide while developing groundbreaking reports on the intelligence activities of foreign governments. He has completed complex asset investigations and reported out details of investigations into several high-profile oligarchs who are under indictment and considered to be close associates of the Russian Federation. His counterintelligence work also includes numerous reports on Chinese economic espionage, spies, and CIA officers who have turned against the U.S. for the benefit of the People’s Republic of China. He is a graduate of Fordham University with a degree in Economics and is a member of the Investigative Reporters & Editors organization.

I coordinate sales and our ocean freight operations within the US and China. My primary focus is finding great new customers and servicing and growing our existing customers' business with us. I work with our excellent manufacturer's representatives and distributors to seek out the best opportunities to grow our Feather Lodge brand of building materials. Since 2009, sales have increased over 300% in flooring products alone. In 2009 I developed the company's website, and have helped organize and design our company's marketing materials. I also negotiate and structure our containerized ocean, MLB, and multi-modal freight programs through direct vendor contracts and connections. This work provides some of the "best in industry" freight tracking and electronic document processing systems in the building materials industry.

Worked in NBC News' coverage unit. Covered the 2004 and 2008 elections on the Politics Desk, covered multiple major breaking news stories, broke several national stories, and field produced both breaking news and taped pieces for MSNBC, the TODAY show, and NBC Nightly News. Worked extensively in the New York Bureau covering the Northeast and Midwest, provided editorial guidance to NBC Weekend Nightly News with Lester Holt. Wrote and produced articles and news reports on Ground Zero and the rebuilding efforts of the site and neighborhood. Last position held was Assignment Manager overseeing the national and international news desk overnight for all of NBC News and its related cable news properties.

Covered the greater Philadelphia region (market #4) for WCAU a NBC Owned and Operated television station on the assignment desk. Responsibilities included covering breaking news, assigning reporters and photojournalists and dispatching Chopper 10. Also, contributed in an editorial role to election coverage in the 2006 election.

Produced award-winning live sports broadcasts, developed new sports engineering techniques and practices. Anchored both news and sports broadcasts live in PM Drive hosted by Dennis Elsas.
