About Will Bailey

I graduated from Roger Williams University in May 2024 with a degree in Computer Science. My passion is software development and design on impactful projects.During my recent role as a software engineering intern at Bay Computer Associates, I gained invaluable experience as a developer. I was responsible for developing and deploying an internal application that significantly improved the company's product testing and debugging processes. This experience not only broadened my technical skills but also allowed me to excel in designing, writing, and professionally documenting code in a real-world, professional environment.Throughout my academic journey, I have actively engaged in various projects, with one of the most significant being a research project during my junior year spring. This project was part of a data science capstone class, where my group and I collected sentiment and technical data on the top 50 stocks by volume in the S&P from 2016 to 2021. With this data, we tested and trained deep learning models which we used to predict close prices.As I continue to advance in my academic and professional career, I am eager to leverage my skills and experiences to contribute to meaningful projects and drive impactful change in the field of computer science.
