Led a $30M, 30-person contract that produced Distributed Learning (online and blended) courseware, cybersecurity and other capabilities to the Training Division of the Army National Guard. Had full responsibility for planning and executing contract deliverables, profitability and hiring authority.Courseware development followed milestones from concept to delivery, with products available on GuardU, the Army National Guard's online portal.Contract also managed 350+ fixed and portable computer "classrooms" to deliver online training nationwide. A customized COTS program used SQL queries to track classroom usage.Cybersecurity has guided information systems to attain and maintain compliance with the Clinger-Cohen Act and other federal and Army cybersecurity requirements for system integrity.The contract also developed code for a program that tracked unit training and informed National Guard Bureau of annual training budget requirements.

Hq, Training And Doctrine Command (Tradoc), Ft. Eustis, Va

Led a staff directorate at the 4-star Army command charged with individual Soldier training and leader development. Planned and implemented Army-wide strategies to improve training efficiencies and save millions of training dollars, reporting directly to and influencing General Officers and Senior Executives.

Competitively selected (8% selection rate) to attend the resident Army War College, Carlisle, Pennsylvania, to receive graduate level instruction to prepare for senior leadership assignments and responsibilities, with studies focused at the national-theater-strategic policy level.

Developed and implemented national-level training policies at Headquarters, Department of the Army during a period of high operational tempo. As subject matter expert, developed complex issues for decision by General Officers, Secretary of the Army and Secretary of Defense. Implemented those decisions collaboratively across the Army.

As second-in-command for a Brigade that trained Reserve Component units deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan, supervised and integrated brigade staff for training, operations, budget, logistics and personnel. Led planning and preparation for brigade movements to, and months-long training at, Ft. McCoy, Wisconsin, and Ft. Stewart, Georgia.
