Responsible for leading the IT team at K&S. With offices around the world moved the Corporate HQ to Singapore. 60 year old company that is #1 in multiple Semiconductor Mfg Equipment sectors. In my first year I had responsibilities for both HR and IT. Upgraded global infrastructure, HRIS and Employee Self Service, SuccessFactors, Upgrade to Oracle R12, Paperless Manufacturing Shopfloor, Customer and Quality Systems. Focused on Risk Management, Governance, Compliance, and Business Continuity Management.

Portland, Oregon

Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Corporate Vice President of Shared Services, which included Information Technology, Human Resources, Supply Chain Systems, Worldwide Corporate Real Estate, Facilities, and Security. Focused on return to profitability and leveraging shared resources model to drive cost and productivity efficiencies. Implemented new global corporate ERP leveraging Microsoft Dynamics and Sharepoint platforms. Major Dataloss Prevention (DLP) project for IP and export protection between the USA and China R&D functions. Upgraded global network infrastructure standardizing on Cisco hardware and Microsoft OCS for Unified Communications.

Houston And Kuala Lumpur

Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) reporting to the Chairman and CEO. Growth and transformation phase focused on leveraging IT to enable the business and positioning for IPO. Updated 5 Global High Performance Computing Centers (HPC) for Seismic Data Processing, and updated the Oracle ERP with additional modules, Implemented SalesForce.com, implemented 2 corporate data centers one in Calgary Canada with the DR site in Kuala Lumpur. Revamped the global corporate network with private high speed MPLS infrastructure. Paradigm Executive Representative to the OpenSpirit Consortium.

Toronto, Canada

Responsible for engineering, design, and manufacturing systems. Supplier and Customer facing systems leveraging B2B and RosettaNet standards. On going enhancements to Supply Chain systems by implementing new SAP modules for forecasting, demand planning, and global available to promise. Regional teams and geographic responsibilities include Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore

Toronto, Canada And Austin, Texas

After the acquisition of ATI by AMD worked as part of the integration team to merge the two SAP instances. Responsible for Supply Chain Systems, Supply and Demand Planning, Supplier B2B Data Systems, Product Lifecycle Management Systems, and Inventory Management. Leveraging SAP, RosettaNet B2B, and eMatrix. Regional teams and geographic responsibilities include Canada, Texas, California,Taiwan, Singapore, and Malaysia.

Singapore

Chief Information Officer for global semiconductor Package, Assembly and Test manufacturing company. Headquartered in Singapore the position reports to the CEO and strategic advisor to the Board of Directors. Responsibilities include all aspects of global information technology systems. Supports over 4200 users including remote locations in United States and Indonesia. Developed robust HR compensation programs, Indonesian Labor and Union Relations, Automated Manufacturing and Shopfloor Control Systems, Deployed Business Intelligence Systems and Executive Dashboards.

Singapore

Directed corporate Information Technology operations for global semiconductor manufacturing company. Headquartered in Singapore position responsibilities includes all aspects of business applications and systems reporting to the CIO. Fully responsible for $8.5 million dollar annual IT budget and 83 multinational staff. Supports over 5600 users including remote locations in Europe, China, Japan, United States, and Singapore. Key advisor to the CEO and senior staff on IT strategic systems and capabilities. Leveraged Oracle ERP and Data-warehouse infrastructure. Founding member of the RosettaNet Semiconductor Board.

Austin, Texas Area

During the seven years with Motorola completed many successful projects in leadership positions. Roles and responsibilities spanned systems development, implementation, support and services as well as a community relations role in the last year of employment. Received numerous corporate awards and accolades to include the 1996 CIO “Bullseye Award” for leadership and personal initiative. Continued leadership development by attending the Motorola Leadership Institute in May 1996.

Austin, Texas Area

Responsible for hardware and network systems configuration, installation, testing as well as pre and post support. Certified network engineer for Novell as well as Sun Sparc and IBM AIX Architecture. Project manager for major accounts to included Motorola, Sematech, Texas State Government, American Cancer Society. Responsible for systems configurations, implementation, testing and rollout. Delivered pre and post sales support. Prepared proposals and presented responses to Request for Proposals. Managed customer support team consisting of 6 technical support personnel providing on site support at four different on-site customer locations. Developed service level agreements and implemented call tracking processes and systems thus improving overall systems support efficiencies by more than 60%.

Guam And North Carolina

Worked with a global team and a Dept of Defense contractor to automate the logistics planning process for the USAF. Moved from a completely manual aircraft weight and balance system to fully automated system. Used for weight and balance planning for air cargo for C5, C130, C141, and C17 aircraft. Setup worldwide training programs via computer based training. Traveled to different global sites to setup and deploy the training infrastructure. Top Secret Security clearance and part of advanced mobility planning operations for global multidisciplinary forces.
