Part-time position as church secretary and receptionist. My duties include creating slides for presentations and informational displays throughout the building, scheduling of building use, and general office duties.

The Center for Adventist Research is a Branch Office of the Ellen G. White Estate, the editorial office of the Seventh-day Adventist Periodical Index, home of the Adventist Heritage Center, Andrews University Archives, and the James White Library Rare Materials Collection.Organizing off-campus week-long tours, pre-production of booklets containing papers presented at a symposium, website design, social media, and supervising students digitizing photographs and reel-to-reel audio recordings.This job required self-motivation as many of the projects were dependent on my initiative. It also required attention to detail, good communication skills, and a healthy dose of creativity.Key Accomplishments Designed, wrote, and edited the Center’s newsletter: Communiqué. Designed and researched the 19-foot-long 150-year timeline exhibit for the Center’s museum.Researched, procured, and digitized images, created maps, drew illustrations, wrote captions and laid out interior pages for Adventist Pioneer Places, a 171-page self-guided tour book. Developed a social media presence for the Center for Adventist Research.Redesigned the website for the Center for Adventist Research including the development of a searchable indexed 10,000 photo database.Coordinated and planned the logistics for six eight-day Adventist History study tours and four one-day Adventist History tours.

In this position I was the receptionist for the department, secretary to the Department Chair, as well as used various art/communication skills to maintain their webpage, produce flyers and announcements, and the department student handbook. I also often provided computer desk-side technical support.

Prepared customer files for offset press and digital copiers for Andrews University's in-house print shop. Scheduled and delegated jobs for assistant graphic artists and interns.

Overall duties included planning and production of yearbook. Other duties were to design layout, supervise the staff and work with customer relations.
