Coordination of facilities engineering activities in the execution of projects by members including design, procurement, and overall project management of scope, timing, and financials. Responsible for supervision, mentorship, development, and coaching of team of up to 11; including other professional Engineers, Engineers-in-Training, and administrators. Ensure that projects are executed in compliance with regulations, codes, accepted company safety policies, environment, quality and industry best practices, and cost effectiveness. Use software tools such as Oracle, GIS, Maximo, SCADA, and Microsoft suite of products to assist with project planning and execution. Ensure the group is kept informed of developments that can have an impact on its members by conducting regular group meetings and discussing technical topics/issues related to the group.

Developed standard practices, design guides, and technical specifications. Responsible for group project assignments and overall group project management. Mentored, developed, and evaluated Engineers, Engineers-in-training, Co-op students, technologists, and administrative support staff. Represented ATCO on the Canadian Gas Association Conference organizing committee.

Worked closely with operations field staff to mitigate unexpected outages with the assistance of hydraulic system modeling. Researched opportunities to increase efficiencies and reduce operations and maintenance costs. Assisted design engineers and project managers with project coordination between field and office.
