Volta is the national umbrella organisation of the sector organisations active in the world of electrical engineering. Volta operates under the name: Crossroads of electrotechnology. All in all, Volta works for some 5,000 companies in Belgium, good for approximately 36,000 employees.Within Volta, as a technology consultant, I am responsible for the dissemination of the latest technologies and innovations in the field of electrical engineering. More specifically, my specialisations lie in "intelligent lighting control systems" and "energy management systems". In order to disseminate this to the widest possible audience, Volta gives many lectures, seminars, writes many articles and also develops e-learnings.

You could say that I have been creative ever since I was born. I believe that from childhood to adulthood, a bit of creativity is lost because the world "forces" us to walk in a straitjacket at the expense of creativity. I therefore picked up the thread later in life by going to art school. In the six years that I followed this Academy, I noticed very strongly that my creativity started to develop further to where I am now. My "thing" is to find a mix between technique, painting and creativity and to get this on canvas or in a 3D object.

Telerex, founded in 1970, imports and distributes electronic and electromechanical products within the Benelux. With over 60 employees and offices in Breda and Antwerp, Telerex offers building blocks for the OEM industrial electronics market. Within Telerex Belgium I was responsible for the follow-up of the existing LED product portfolio and competition analysis. By detecting the local market needs in NL & BE, as product manager, I introduced new LED solutions and intelligent lighting control systems from various national and international suppliers to the market. In my second role as Key account manager, I was responsible for selling our LED range to the largest lighting manufacturers in Belgium.

TriLED was a start-up company that developed and produced high-tech intelligent LED luminaires for the industrial market. Currently TriLED no longer exists on the market. As Senior Sales Industrial Lighting, I was responsible for the sales of TriLED's product portfolio in the B2B market. Due to the nature of a startup company, the main focus was on cold acquisition of new customers, maintaining contacts and selling TriLED solutions in the industrial segment. Important tasks during this process were: -Development of lighting plans and offers towards customers -After-sales follow-up

AGMI Traffic & Lighting is a leading authority in the field of signage, supporting structures, tunnel safety products and lighting systems for public lighting such as tunnels, site lighting and subways. As Product Manager, I was responsible for total LED lighting solutions, including controls, within the Agmi group. Main tasks: -Composing and introducing a new LED product portfolio and corresponding controls for the Agmi tunnel and signal segment. -Expansion of the network outside the Netherlands for this product range and search for international partnerships

Key Account, binnen de Benelux, specifiek voor op maat gemaakte LED oplossingen naar bestaande en nieuwe klanten. Deze situeerden zich in de volgende gebieden: industrie, retail, hospitality & healthcare en outdoor. De LED oplossingen bevatten niet alleen het LED gedeelte maar ook het gedeelte mechanica, controle, optieken en het thermische management. Het LED segment onder de groep EREA en is later volledig afgestoten
