De Werkgroep Moleculaire Diagnostiek van Infectieziekten (WMDI) is een zeer actieve werkgroep die zich bezig houdt met kwaliteit, ontwikkeling en toepassing van moleculaire diagnostiek van humane infectieziekten. Doelstelling van de werkgroep is een open sfeer na te streven waarin iedere deelnemer, analist, arts-microbioloog en medisch moleculair microbioloog (MMM), gestimuleerd wordt zijn/haar ervaringen te delen. Ook het uitwisselen van protocollen en (controle)materialen wordt belangrijk geacht. De werkgroep is van mening dat op deze wijze het vakgebied van moleculaire diagnostiek het beste uitgedragen kan worden. -
