MC10 products are thin and flexible, and built to stretch, bend and twist seamlessly with our bodies, creating the most comfortable experience possible for the user.While working here, I acted as lead mechanical engineer on a team developing a flexible, ultra-thin, and wearable ECG cardiac biosensor and heart rate logger with a form factor similar to a Band-Aid.Some skills used/learned at my position are as follows:●Conducted a clinical study●Created complete CAD (SolidWorks) database for device, including test fixtures, technical drawings, and high quality product renders●Optimized design through various electrode tests, wear tests, durability tests, and water ingress tests●Analyzed collected physiological data against consumer and medical gold standard heart rate monitors and presented data for use in a technical publication●Authored and conducted many on-body test protocols, including functional validation of device●Built hundreds of prototypes, which required soldering , die cutting, assembly, and functional validation●Practiced GLP while maintaining a lab notebook and in writing test reports●Interacted with outside vendors to order materials or labor needed for test fixture development Show less
