What does the Dragon-Slayer appellation mean?It means that throughout my career, supervisors and managers and bosses have found in me someone to whom they can hand a pile of disorganized ingredients and say, "I need THIS to become THIS ....," and then I would do it: databases, workflow processes, communications and marketing pieces of every stripe, event-planning, etc.Every executive or manager has a project (or two. or four...) sitting in a drawer or on a credenza that just Never. Gets. Done. If it did, it would save money or streamline something or provide better data or...any number of important outcomes. But, it's a project outside the normal day-to-day scope of what that person does, and what his/her staff do. And no one has the time. So, you keep sawing with a dull blade, because there's no break in which to stop and sharpen it. I am the sharpener. I am the Dragon-Slayer. I can take that project on for you and Get. It.
