As the campus life editor, I was responsible for everything that happened in that section. I gathered stories ideas, assigned them, edited the stories for clarity/AP style and laid out the section. As the advertising manager, I co-ran the advertising team with the advertising director. I made sure each salesperson submitted his or her ads on time, built.

Many of my responsibilities as an intern were the same as a contractor, with the exception of the Fayetteville Insider’s Guide. Instead, I did work for our intern-only project client, Safe Places. My fellow interns and I created a set of marketing tools for Safe Places from the ground up; this included giving them a new tagline, a new logo, developing.
