My Information-Technology experience runs both broad and deep and my career is earmarked by accomplishments in leading and directing information-technology operations across many disciplines, however, since 2008 my sole focus has been on front-end development for web-based applications. This technology landscape has gone through explosive growth, providing constant challenges and exciting new avenues to explore. I have been witness to the transition from helpful javascript libraries to full fledged MVC frameworks requiring build processes and am constantly amazed at the new milestones and achievements constantly taking place in our industry.Using a wide range of development tools and frameworks, I have had the pleasure of creating small, focused sites for a narrow audience, as well as being part of a team that developed a site that receives millions of page views per month. In all of my roles I have had the privilege of helping choose the technology and long term strategy for our development.Alongside working with technologies that I enjoy, I have been fortunate to work with many wonderful people in a variety of roles; business owners, product owners, project managers, QA testers and fellow coders to name a few. Creating websites that better position the companies in their respective markets, while helping customers find relevant, sometimes critical information helps make this profession a very rewarding one.
