As Senior Staff I was one of four who were in charge of doing the behind the scenes work for camp, brainstorming ideas and figuring out new things to do at camp, managing and directing counselors in duties, organizing and planning meals and snacks, and being the one who answers parent questions and if necessary inform parents when their children were misbehaving. This position was a step above normal camp staff and the highest position a counselor could earn within the Cool Creek Camp Program

- Organized and led volunteer efforts, including canvassing, phone banking, and community outreach initiatives, resulting in increased voter engagement and turnout.- Recruited and trained over 50 volunteers, building a dedicated team that reached thousands of voters through door-to-door interactions.- Conducted in-depth policy research on issues impacting Indiana, including reproductive healthcare, water quality, energy policy, taxation, and public education, which informed campaign messaging and policy platforms.- Developed targeted communication strategies to effectively convey policy positions, contributing to the candidate’s public debates and interviews.- Assisted with campaign event planning and coordinated logistics, leading to well-attended rallies and community forums that enhanced candidate visibility.- Greeted and assisted attendees at events, ensuring a welcoming environment and handling inquiries to maximize voter engagement and provide a positive experience.
