Passionate about technology, design and big ideas from a young age, I released my first app at 16. After high school I turned this passion into a job as a junior web developer at JB Hi-Fi. Over almost 4 years there, I advanced from fixing bugs to ideating and delivering high-value projects and working as an equal in a cross-functional team. I gained a reputation for thinking outside the box, asking the right questions, and bringing passion and humour to the job.During lockdown I launched a personal project called Bundled Notes, a cross platform note-taking app for Android and the Web. It has since garnered significant attention for its bleeding-edge adoption of Material You, and has been regularly recognised by Android news publications. It has almost 150,000 total downloads, and >2000 active daily users. Though I have a particular interest in developing great UIs and user experiences, my passion for software covers the whole gamut, including security design, SEO, marketing and even just plain-old backend development. Today, I am working as a full-stack web developer at MYOB on a customer onboarding product, where me and my team are tackling solutions across UX, UI, testing, infrastructure and security development everyday. My technical experience includes development across a full stack of languages and frameworks: Typescript/JavaScript, Kotlin, Java, C#/.NET, HTML, CSS, React, SQL/Postgres. I have developed APIs hosted across AWS, Azure and Firebase/GCP, and worked on integrating APIs and sites with a range of third party services such as Contentful, Algolia, Segment, Split.IO, Google Analytics and more.Thanks to the contrast between developing my own project, and my almost 6 years of professional experience across JB Hi-Fi, MYOB and Alex Solutions, my approach and skills have been forged somewhere between an exciting, rapid startup mindset, and a practical, broad, collaborative big-business approach.
