From my experiences as a United States Marine, to my various jobs through my career, there are two things that I have always done, worked well with others and gave 100% in whatever duties assigned. My interest in computers came after I completed active duty. In August of 1999, I enrolled in the Computer Education Institute in Carson, California, and completed the Computer Tech course while also getting an MCP and Novell certification as well as A+ from CompTIA. After leaving California and relocating back to Tifton, GA, I enrolled in Moultrie Technical College. There, I completed my AA in Applied Science while also competing in competitions as a member of the Academic Club. In 2005, I placed 4th in the state of Georgia in state competition while also attending various leadership trainings. After being away from the industry for a while, I accepted a position as a Quality Tech at Graphic Packaging International. I also assumed responsibilities as the Local Network Administrator. My duties included break/fix, troubleshooting computers and printers, inventory, supply ordering, upgrade and software installation and some switch and router installation. I completed the CCNA Corporate Training course at Tri-C. I am enrolled at Lorain Community College where I am pursuing an AA degree in Network Communications Technology. I plan to transfer and complete my bachelor’s degree.
