- Responsible for a diverse portfolio of upto 40 projects at a time, with varied timescales from a week to 3 years. Average value of portfolio well in excess of £2.5million per annum- Weekly presentations to CEO & directors on incoming clients’ needs and expectations- Typical delegate numbers of around 400 for residential conferences, up to 1000 for banquets.- Act as main point of contact, & decision maker between clients and venue for all aspects of booking.- liaising with suppliers, raising invoices and PO’s, scheduling and processing deposits, hosting meetings, conceptualizing theming, floor plans, & menu design, alongside building of event orders used on the day by operational teams across all departments

As a member of the conference and banqueting team I am entrusted to lead a team of up to 60 in the day to day delivery of a wide range of events. Be it weddings, exhibitions, golf days, or gala dinners. Customer service is the prime focus of the role. I lead by example with impeccable personal appearance, a calm attitude, and a genuine desire to provide the best customer care. Excellent communication and organisational skills are required regularly. This is a very varied role but overriding duties include: meeting deadlines, maintaining standards, training, & food service.
