I joined NDG (New Device Group) taking over software integration team and validation team, for BSP of Intel's home-made wearables-oriented SoC platform (Curie(tm)). I also own contracts/SOW (Statement of Work) with contractor suppliers from France and China.

In the CTE (China Tech Ecosystem) organization at Intel, I built an Android OSP engineering team and addressed the much feared Android application compatibility on x86 based smartphone/tablets during 2012-13; I then built and still running the software integration and system debug team since 2013, setup and refined the continuous integration tools which fit into the turnkey model.

While I am running an Engineering team, I am also working as a SW program manager of Intel Atom X3 (codenamed Sofia family) based MRDs (master reference design) which fit into China tech ecosystem (aka. Turnkey solutions for China phone/tablet ODM/IDH). • I delivered SW for 3 platforms with Android Kitkat, Lollipop, based on Sofia 3G and 3G-R SoCs in 2015, and one platform based on Clovertrail+ in 2014 whose combined volume exceeds tens of millions units. • As SW program manager for OEM smartphone/tablet products, successfully delivered world’s first x86 based smartphone for China Mobile (partner with then-Motorola Mobility) and several rapid-to-market tablets in 2012.

As an early member of the pathfinding team, I helped shape up the customer support process over the years and the work relationship between customer engineering org and the R&D team.I defined the model Intel release/update SW to OEMs and how change requests / bugs are handled and led the implementation of the tools to support the process in CTS. Proficiency in handling the proprietary licenses and various open source licenses was crucial in this job.

• Educating customers and developing the market for Intel XML products aiming at the SaaS market.• Established customer support process of the new XML product team.• Lead technical support team for presale customer engagement, educating customers and developing the market for Intel XML products and helping internal team understand market needs.

I led the application engineering (AE) team (4 members) managing relationship with key PC OEMs (Toshiba and Panasonic), by enabling Intel Graphics in their new PC models – educating them key features and roadmaps, aligning their schedule with Intel and managing SW issues.

• I was the lead of 3 SW developers and 2 QA engineers maintaining APC’s UPS management SW, PowerChute. • The SW has versions written in C++ and Java, running on Windows, Linux and Unix OS.

Designed and developed a SW prototype of error tolerant mass-data-distribution system.

A key developer of the control system of Sodick’s machining center (written in Borland C++).Certified as MCSE, MCSD and MCDBA (using spare time)
