Senior Sap Basis Engineer
CurrentAs a lead Basis administrator, I am responsible for deploying, installing, and providing support for S/4HANA 2021 in the current scope. In the past efforts, I supported a landscape that included S/4HANA 1909, Convergent Charging 5.0 and had HA features. My responsibilities included performance of systems with high data growth during testing, fine-tuning the application and technical parameters of CC to support more than half a million daily orders, perform patches/upgrades to improve the stability of the systems, configuring SAP CC cockpit, setting up a special Wily Introscope 9.7 instance for monitoring SAP CC, establishing HANA HSR for HA & DR, setting up HANA Cockpit for database administration, backup/recovert and troubleshooting, setup SAML SSO for Fiori Launchpad via Okta, m, setup and configure SLT replication for BI Reporting. Deploy & Manage complete SAP infrastructure in AWS Cloud utilizing services like EC2, AMI, ALB/NLB, Route 53, S3, EFS, S3/EFS replication, S3 Retention policies, EBS Volumes, LaunchWizard, AWS Backint Agent, Backup Encryption.Key Achievements:- Recognized as IT MVP for being top-performer, who has produced high-quality work, shows a positive attitude and goes above and beyond.- Identified potential problems with system expansion and long-term viability during the implementation phase, well before they affected the project's progress.- Assumed a vital role in identifying an inadequate implementation partner team and help the management consider a replacement partner.- Prevented significant financial loss to the company by identifying and addressing a flawed design and data growth in a high-growth system that was being implemented. This avoided the need for additional investments in systems, backups, archiving and reporting infrastructure over the next decade.- Spearheaded the effort to leave an outdated system and software, opting instead for a new, recent version and a fresh landscape approach for implementation.
