About Yi W.

Yi is a water resource modeller with extensive experience in water, wastewater, stormwater, and flood modelling. Yi is proficient in many numerical modelling packages, including InfoWater and EPANET for water system modelling, MIKE Urban/Plus for collection system modelling, EPASWMM and HEC-RAS for 1D stormwater and flood modelling, TUFLOW and SRH-2D for 2D hydrodynamic modelling, and HEC-HMS for hydrologic modelling. He has developed over a dozen tools in ArcGIS, R, and Python to facilitate pre- and post-processing for the modelling exercises.Yi is also specialized in IDF curves under climate change. Yi is a major contributor to future IDF curves update projects at Metro Vancouver. Yi has dedicated his PhD study into identifying changes in IDF curves in Southern Ontario.
