Listening to people and telling their stories is my life’s work.My curiosity about the world is the driving force behind my career as a print, radio, and television reporter and producer. I’m currently a digital content editor in a deadline-driven environment at CBS 2 Chicago. With a keen eye, I make additions, subtractions, and everything in between as I guide important stories to our audiences. My work illuminates both unique and familiar experiences. My stories have aired on NPR, PRI, WBEZ, WCPN, WXXI, Marketplace, Latino USA, and Only A Game. My print bylines include the Chicago Reader, Chicago magazine, Chicago Tribune, Daily Herald, Austin Weekly News, Chicago Journal, The Dark Pages Newsletter, Hispanic Business, Modern Brown Girl, and the New York Times Regional Newspapers.I was born in Massachusetts and grew up in Los Angeles and Miami. I've lived in both Brazil and Colombia as well as the East Coast and Midwestern United States. A desire to learn fuels my personal life. As a byproduct of the pandemic shutdown, I’m always trying out new plant-based recipes and indulging in my love of classic cinema, including books about people who create movie magic. My passions include architecture, live music, and travel.
