The Community Facilities Unit provides funding for the provision of high-quality, accessible sporting infrastructure across Victoria.-Program management of the Community Facility Funding Program.-Specialist knowledge pertaining to the development of high-quality, accessible community sport and recreation facilities, including all aspects of project management, facility design and business/strategic planning.-Financial tracking, management and reporting to the Department of Treasury and Finance, forecasting expenditure and management/acquittal of accounts to the total combined value of over $160 million.-Providing support to regional officers in Hume and Gippsland regions in relation to project & program advice, project variations, project payments and general information.-Development and promotion of universal design initiatives to drive innovation and accessibility in the sector.
