As Senior Outsource Accounting Specialist, I am able to bring my experience with small business and nonprofit organizations to the table as I work with small business owners and their staff to develop accounting procedures, select and implement accounting software, and ensure the integrity and efficiency in their accounting processes. What a great place to work! As Director of Accounting, I worked with an incredibly talented, fun group of trade show professionals. Managing a small team, I had the privilege of directing all of the financial activities of this Woman Owned Small Business. I was encouraged to conceive and implement many procedural changes which led to greater efficiency as well as increased profits.

With my promotion to Accounting Manager, one of my main responsibilities was assisting in the development, monitoring and reporting of the budget process for this mid-sized medical firm. I also was responsible for the oversight accounts payable and payroll functions. My most valuable experience came from being assigned responsibility and working with teams for special accounting projects.

I had the great fortune to be afforded the opportunity to grow in this position. I was hired as an accounting assistant and was responsible for updating schedules and data entry into the software system. As my knowledge of the business and accounting process grew, I was promoted to Accountant and was able to participate in higher level functions such as assisting with financial reporting and budgeting.
