Dr. Chen, professor at Mercy University, New York, the director of the Cybersecurity Education Center, a point of contact to NSA CAE, director for Cybersecurity degree programs and former department chair, research scientists at IBM T J Watson Research Center and Pittsburgh lab, and an assistant professor in Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His current research interests are on zero trust tenets from hardware to application. He has published over 50 peer reviewed journal and conference papers, and served as program chairs, committee members in various IEEE/ACM conferences. He holds CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and is a senior member of the IEEE and a senior member of the ACM. Dr. Chen holds a PhD in Mathematics and MS in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh and BS and MS in Mathematics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
