Deployments: Naval Air Ambulance Detachment (2010) in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), Naval Air Ambulance Detachment (2011) in support of Operation New Dawn (OND), Pacific Partnership 2012 aboard the USNS Mercy (Humanitarian Relief Efforts)Results: Mentored and trained 22 personnel in areas of expertise in order to achieve 100% workplace readiness. Enabled 77 personnel to track, move, and return allocations of Imminent Battle Assessment (IBA) gear with values exceeding $400,000. As the Operations Manager aboard the USNS Mercy, meticulous planning and technical knowledge enabled the daily scheduling of 14 personnel, resulting in 475 mishap-free flight hours, and the successful transfer of over 900 pallets of medical supplies and 1150 passengers. Hand selected to be the Command NATOPS (Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization) Manager after managing and tracking the training efforts of 67 personnel encompassing 2,032 qualifications leading to an overall “outstanding” on the command’s annual NATOPS evaluation.
