My name is Zach and I’m currently a Bottling Team Lead at Northwest Ordinance Distillery- a production facility within the Sazerac Company network. I was raised on a beef cattle farm in Brandenburg, KY. There, I learned an unmatched work ethic, how to cooperate with like minded individuals, and how to operate machinery exceptionally well. My family farm has worked closely with UK's Extension programs and has been showcased to members of the Meade County Cattleman's Association. My knowledge of the agricultural industry, leadership skills, and strong work ethic are some of my biggest assets.I'm a graduate of the University of Kentucky, where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics and a minor in Business. While in college, I played an active role in my fraternity, Alpha Gamma Rho (ΑΓΡ), serving twice on our chapter’s executive team. In 2017, I served as Vice Noble Ruler of Scholarship and in 2019 I served as Vice Noble Ruler of Membership Development. In the spring of 2019, I studied International Agribusiness abroad for 2 weeks in Argentina. We had meetings everyday with various companies that spanned the wide spectrum of the international agriculture industry. In March of 2020 I participated in DanceBlue, the largest university-based philanthropy event in Kentucky.In the summer of 2019, I was a merchandising intern for Gavilon in Henderson, KY. There I learned a lot about the grain trading industry, an industry I wasn't familiar with before.I’m now looking to take what skills I’ve learned from all my past experiences and improve on them, as well as learn new skills in order to keep myself and my workplace satisfied.
