As a current Civil Engineering student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I embarked on my journey with a passion for creating designs that are not only functional but also sustainable and aesthetically pleasing. My interest in this field was sparked in my rural high school when I took a course in designing an electric car which competed in Wisconsin. I also have consistently been inspired with ongoing energy issues. Knowing I wanted to make a difference in the world, I chose to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering, where I have excelled academically, maintaining a high GPA.My internship experiences have given me hands-on exposure to various aspects of Civil Engineering. During my time with Makepeace Engineering, I contributed to the design and planning of several projects, utilizing my academic knowledge and software skills. This hands-on experience, paired with my academic training, has equipped me with a robust set of skills and a deep understanding of the field.
