My name is Zack Davis and I'm a videographer. I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, majoring in New Media (Video Production, Graphic Design, Interactive Design and Photography). I own a Sony A7iii, Phantom 3 Drone, Zhiyun Crane 3 Stabilizer, ring light, green screen equipment, and the Adobe Creative Suite. I specialize in video production, video editing, and graphic design. I'm very experienced with most DSLR cameras, especially the Sony and Canon brand. During my 4 years at school, I had the opportunity to create digital content using professional video lighting and audio equipment. This was through my college courses and internship with Fighting Illini Productions. I've used Canon's 5D Mark iii, 70D, and 7D, as well as the SONY SF5, SONY XD broadcasting camera and JVC broadcasting camera. During my internship with Fighting Illini Productions, I shot live video, and broadcasted the feed onto the jumbotron for sporting events. I also was assigned to shoot creative b-roll shots for feature films and other creative videos on the Fighting Illini Page. This internship taught me to work in a team or isolated environment at a fast pace as well as coordinate and conduct interviews with athletes and coaches. I also had the opportunity to create eye-catching motion graphics, such as lower-thirds.During my free time, I take on the role of an entrepreneur, collaborating with music artists to produce music videos and other digital content for their social media. Creating this work requires me to storyboard ideas and strive to explore different editing techniques. It also gives me the opportunity to actively network from a marketing perspective. My experience as a graphic designer can be verified on the portfolio page of my website. I feel very strongly about my abilities to story-tell using video, work in a team or isolated environment, and work as a video/photo editor as well as a graphic designer in a fast-paced environment.
