My main responsibility in this position is to manage all of the inventory and stock of the Basement Brewhaus and complete weekly and daily orders to ensure that the Brewhaus has all of the products required for daily operation. As part of the management team, I also assist with hiring activities and making general managerial decisions for the Brewhaus. During my spring semester I was responsible for organizing the Taste of Wisconsin event which is a sampling for Wisconsin beers, wine, and foods. In this position I worked at my own station and my primary task was entering the data from purchase orders into a Microsoft Excel document and filing the purchase order sheets alphabetically in the appropriate cabinet. If this task was complete each day I scanned old files into Adobe Acrobat and saved the files to the University's inventory system. After scanning I would re-file the inventory files into new folders and place them in the appropriate cabinet. Here I learned skills in time management, filing, Microsoft Excel, and working on my own.
