▪ Primarily responsible for providing strategic direction for the Wastewater business (c.1500 employees), leading a key project to design the target operating model. ▪ Delivering coaching, support and challenge to department strategic direction, leading key functional programmes and executing critical people initiatives including engagement & diversity, culture and management development. ▪ Focusing new initiatives and programmes to meet operational culture, address attraction and retention issues and build capability. ▪ Working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to influence and instil change.

▪ Provided expertise to the Waste Network division (c.500 employees and c.800 contractors), operated as a key member of the Senior Management Team and led the development and delivery of business-driven people plans. ▪ Translated strategies into people plans that delivered measurable value, enhanced performance and efficiencies. ▪ Ran a cultural diagnostic across the business unit to understand the current and desired culture, launched an in-house training programme to build capability and developed/delivered a pay progression scheme. ▪ Formed part of a small team to design and launch a behavioural reset programme across leaders. ▪ Led a project to identify key skills across the Operational division to develop plans to grow, buy and develop. ▪ Led the people workstream within a transformation programme to open a new shared office to improve customer service. ▪ Worked as a trusted partner to senior managers, provided direction and support, led the talent agenda and drove performance improvements. ▪ Led a HR team and coached colleagues to achieve personal and business aspirations.
