Manage the relationship between BCS and a key account following the successful tender for the delivery of IT User qualifications through their network. This included understanding and advising on contract discussions, ensuring the business unit met the requirements of the contract and carrying out the necessary due diligence.

Main responsibilities included; managing a team of developers, programmers, business analysts and a database administrator. Working with a variety of suppliers and customers to ensure that business critical systems were developed correctly and efficiently with the most relevant technical solution. Involved in a variety of technical areas to ensure 24/7 data feeds from the UK network of Approved Centres was managed successfully. Development and management of relationships with internal and external parties. Worked closely with users to understand requirements and implement systems that met the needs of the users and the business. Scoped and designed technical solutions to support the operations in the BCS Qualifications business unit. These systems managed the end to end processes for a UK network of 3000 approved centres, 20,000 centre staff and in excess of 2 million candidates across the qualifications portfolio.Key Achievements: Within this role I identified, developed and implemented many new systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness which ultimately had a significant impact on the net contribution of the business unit, this included developing systems to ensure scalable growth of business, such as an automated audit workflow system and implementing the first online candidate registration systems.
