  • Built a series of Java plugins for the Apache Kafka client to support end-to-end encryption and large message handling, featuring integrations with AWS S3 and KMS.
  • Created a gRPC server plugin to integrate Grafana alerting with KairosDB time series data in order to streamline management of critical system and application alerts across the company.
  • Trained new developers on technologies used by the team and provided frequent guidance on development, testing, and monitoring best practices.
