• Zyad joined Proximity Indian Ocean (part of the Omnicom group) as a web developer, straight from University. He graduated with honors in the Computing Science field from the University of Greenwich, London, and he was the first employee of Proximity Indian Ocean. He is also Microsoft, and Sitecore certified, as well as ITIL certified.• It is now 20 years since he first joined. Through his career, he has worked on and led some high profile, global, technical projects, namely for Peugeot, Mars, Mondelez, Mercedes, and P&G, all being conducted at scale.• His current role is VP of Software Engineering for Rapp (part of the Omnicom group), where he develops and implements an agency-wide technology strategy, and provides technical and architecture direction and support for major and complex projects. • Among being a technology enthusiast, he is also an avid, hard-core gamer, and never misses any major video game releases, on any platform.
