With over 15 years of work experience in the Workplace / Occupational Health and Safety field, and a trade background, I offer work place knowledge and expertise that will generate and promote a positive Health and Safety Culture and working with employers and employees alike to preferably eradicate or mitigate the risk and hazards found or encountered within the work place.Working career commenced in the Mining Industry in both residential and FIFO capacities. Experience gained in Surface and Underground mining capacities for a period of 17 years in South and Central Africa and Western Australia as well as in the Construction environment. Experience also extends into the Oil and Gas industry since 2009 in Western Australia and the Northern Territory. My responsibility includes ensuring that all safety legislation, work place policies and safe work practices are adopted and adhered to. My strong values in safety within the work place and dedication in helping to establish and support an incident & injury free culture, and proven team management skills, including leading Pre-starts, Safety Toolbox talks, etc. that I have gained whilst carrying out my career choiceMy work history as a Tradesman and in a Supervisory role in the Mining and Workshop Fabrication and later in the OHSE industry involved in the Construction, Completions and Commissioning facets, has been instrumental in ensuring and cultivating a harmonious and safety culture in the Open Cut and Underground Mining environment.
