We are a nonprofit organization that equips youth worldwide with tools to process and tell their experiences, impacting how they view themselves and their role in their community. Our custom curriculum improves emotional intelligence, well-being, resilience, and community-building skills. Photography becomes a new access to self-expression, connection, and youth experiencing themselves as leaders. The 100cameras program platform is designed to be inclusive, accessible, and educational and has options available that work in partnership with local organizations or with youth individually. Providing an outlet to process experiences and express emotions through the medium of visual storytelling while fostering a connection to oneself and to others is critical. Our model flips the narrative and gives youth the tools to share their voices and become the storytellers, leaders, and change-makers for their community and beyond. Our program platform has been shown to increase the ability to process and share life experiences, improve emotional development and community-building skills, and increase self-esteem.
