ACR-GNY | Association for Conflict Resolution of Greater New York

The Association for Conflict Resolution Greater New York Chapter, Inc. (ACR-GNY) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and strengthening alternative dispute and conflict resolution (ADR), fostering the use of dialogue, and contributing to the professional development of the ADR field. The Greater New York Chapter of the Association for Conflict Resolution serves the entire Greater New York Region, including parts of New Jersey and Connecticut. Our membership includes professional and volunteer mediators, government employees, lawyers, arbitrators, environmental public policy specialists, community and consensus-building facilitators, ombuds specialists, restorative justice practitioners, clergy, educators, students, and others involved in alternative dispute resolution. MISSION: The Association for Conflict Resolution of Greater New York connects our diverse membership to advance and expand the field of conflict resolution. - We grow through inclusivity—inviting new perspectives strengthens our field. - We convene the conflict resolution community to share knowledge, cultivate understanding, and provide support. - We advocate for the wider recognition and practice of conflict resolution. VISION: A more peaceful, equitable, and collaborative world through the advancement and expansion of the practice and public understanding of conflict resolution.
