Active Allies is building a team to:
- Fulfill young adults’ dreams to not just volunteer, but be paid to work on what they care about most: health and justice in their communities — and a future they can look forward to.
- Enlist other adults who “course-correct” their own lives by sponsoring and collaborating with young adults for the essential work to defend, repair and regenerate their communities.
- Establish a new Course-Correct Corps — a public service program, first in the Bay Area, then in California, and then, we hope, nationally — to pay young adults a basic income to work on our most pressing public health priorities, like COVID and climate justice.
