Adarsh Seva Samiti

Adarsh Seva Samiti is a non - government development organization working on issues affecting the urban and rural poor, with a special focus on education, health, agriculture, sanitation. Our main motto lies in accessible service to socially excluded group of people. For the last 40 years ASS has been working in the urban slums of Delhi and has also made inroads into rural development in the states of UP, Uttrakhand, Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan. Our prospective intervention areas are Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Assam and Meghalaya. Main objectives of the organization are as follows:- Facilitate the needy so that they can stand and fight for their rights and basic needs. Train and Empower tribal, Schedule castes, BPL, minority, vulnerable, marginal group, women and children of the society to facilitate a dignified life. Empowering the youth of the weaker and poorer section of the society by giving them the opportunity to upgrade their knowledge and enhance skills. Sensitize active and powerful group to become change agent and channelize their energy in a constructive way to fill the gaps. Transform problem/situation into opportunity/ learning and leading to execution. Mission: To provide health, sanitation, education services to the undeserved & vulnerable group of the society and to spread the awareness sensitizing the importance of preserving the community assets, both material and immaterial. Disseminate the knowledge of latest farming technologies in the rural areas in order to help them afford self-dependent and a more meaningful life. Empowering and strengthening the socially backward to represent the face of the nation. Vision: To dawn a new India where the glare differences between the socially privileged and the under privileged is minimized and every citizen affords a healthy life through the essential health and education services and optimum realization of the available services.
