To be engaged, you must feel included and valued. We strive to build and nurture a culture where inclusiveness is a reflex, not an initiative. Where there is a deep sense of pride, passion and belonging that transcends any role, business unit, language or country and is unified in our shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and social responsibility. We know through experience that different ideas, perspectives, and backgrounds create a stronger and more creative work environment that delivers better results. It is Our strong belief that now, more urgently than ever, do we, as a continent, need to begin the dialogue around that which we THINK divides us: Our Diversity. It is Our belief that our inherited perceptions on the African social context serve only to entrench the belief that the diversity in Africa is that which makes us weaker. As a result, issues related to diversity (equality, affirmative action, race, and gender, to name a few) cause fractions and fault lines in our social fabric. At a time in our young democracies that requires unity, we stumble at the starting blocks, and all because we, as Africans, do not understand one another. Through different approaches, we seek to foster and facilitate discussions around diversity, that we may breathe a new life and positivity into a previously "taboo" and uncomfortable topic. It is Our unyielding belief that it is our diversity that makes us strong and, consequently, our passion to open up the communication channels for such message to be disseminated.
