Established in 1987, the Australian International Documentary Conference (AIDC) is Australia's premier event for the nonfiction screen and digital media industries. Featuring a four-day marketplace, ideas forum and public screening program, AIDC attracts a dynamic mix of broadcasters, storytellers, entrepreneurs and documentary fans from all over the world. It aims to connect creators, purveyors and viewers of nonfiction screen content in ways that promote business, inspire creativity and ignite social change. The first event of its kind at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) in Melbourne, AIDC 2016 will bring a uniquely Australian perspective to the world of factual screen content.
