Amis, Patel & Brewer, LLP is a boutique law firm focused on providing legal services to the renewable energy and sustainability sectors. The firm was recently founded by leading clean energy and sustainability practitioners with the goal of providing a radically different value proposition to a sector undergoing profound transformation. Our practice encompasses the development and financing of utility scale wind, solar, natural gas, and biomass projects and also includes unique expertise in distributed energy production, energy efficiency, energy storage, wastewater management and controlled environment agriculture. We operate a national (and increasingly international) practice out of Washington D.C., staffed predominantly by senior lawyers with years of experience in the energy and sustainability fields. We are driven by our belief that the clean energy and infrastructure sector is different from the traditional energy sector, different from a regulatory and policy standpoint, different from a technical standpoint, different from a carbon cash flow standpoint and thus different from a structuring standpoint.
