ANGLORAND Securities Limited (ARS) is a South African registered company acquired by Ningbo Construction Ltd in 2015. With roots as far back as 1903, ARS is a boutique financial services company which is the first to be acquired by Chinese private capital. With registered memberships on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) and the South African Futures Exchange (SAFEX), ARS holds several financial licenses and authorizations in South Africa via its subsidiary companies namely, the Financial Services Board (FSB), the National Credit Regulator (NCR), and the South African Reserve Bank (SARB). The acquisition of ARS by Ningbo Construction Ltd is in response to the huge demand for globalized export of capital and capacity, the trend of internationalization of Chinese CNY (Renminbi) and a worldwide allocation of Chinese wealth. The group currently has assets under management of over ZAR 3 billion, and a physical presence in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Abu Dhabi, Mauritius and Shanghai.
