Ardham

Ardham is a collective of trans and gender diverse individuals from India that works towards the empowerment of fellow trans and gender diverse people. Headquartered in Chennai, India, the organization is spear-headed by Hari Hara Sudhan Ramaswamy, a transgender woman (She/They). She founded this collective in 2018. The goal of this collective is to derive and engender meaning (ardham) out of gendered experiences of trans and gender diverse people including people with intersex variations. The organization works as a collective paving way for trans and gender diverse people to become part of the wider society through various projects and other activities that helps towards the aim of Ardham - to engender meanings of gendered experiences.
